Welcome to WebEquipe.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of products, services, software, plugins, websites, APIs, AI-powered tools, SaaS platforms, and related offerings provided through WebEquipe (“Services”).

By accessing, purchasing, installing, using, or interacting with our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. About WebEquipe

WebEquipe is a product brand operated by CodersBucket (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

For the purpose of these Terms:

  • “WebEquipe” refers to products, plugins, SaaS tools, AI tools, APIs, OCR services, websites, and related software provided by CodersBucket Ltd.
  • “User”, “Customer”, “You”, or “Your” refers to any person or entity using our Services.
  • “Service” or “Services” means any software, plugin, subscription, website, cloud platform, API, AI feature, OCR system, downloadable software, hosted application, or related offering.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Services, you confirm that:

  • You are legally able to enter into agreements.
  • You agree to comply with these Terms.
  • You will use the Services lawfully and responsibly.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.

3. Scope of Services

WebEquipe may provide:

  • Free plugins
  • Premium or paid plugins
  • SaaS platforms
  • AI-powered services
  • OCR processing services
  • APIs and integrations
  • Cloud-based services
  • Downloadable software
  • Add-ons, licenses, subscriptions, updates, and related tools

Some Services may have additional product-specific terms, documentation, or pricing conditions.

In the event of conflict, product-specific terms shall prevail for that specific Service.

4. Account Registration

Some Services may require account creation.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep login credentials secure
  • Maintain account confidentiality
  • Notify us of unauthorized access

You are responsible for activities performed under your account.

We are not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure credentials.

5. License & Permitted Use

Subject to payment (if applicable) and compliance with these Terms, WebEquipe grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services.

You may:

  • Install and use purchased plugins according to plan limitations
  • Access SaaS products within subscribed limits
  • Use AI, OCR, or API services within purchased quotas

You may not:

  • Resell or sublicense Services without authorization
  • Copy, reverse engineer, or reproduce proprietary systems
  • Remove copyright or licensing notices
  • Abuse, manipulate, or exploit system limitations
  • Circumvent subscription restrictions or usage limits
  • Use Services for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activities

6. Subscriptions, Billing & Payments

Some Services operate under recurring subscriptions or usage-based plans.

By subscribing, you acknowledge:

  • Subscription charges may recur automatically unless cancelled
  • Billing cycles may be monthly, yearly, credit-based, or product-specific
  • Pricing varies depending on product, plan, or service

Billing, subscriptions, and payment processing may be handled through third-party providers, payment processors, resellers, marketplaces, or platform partners depending on the Service.

You are responsible for reviewing pricing, subscription terms, and renewal conditions before purchase.

Failure to pay may result in suspension, limitation, or termination of access.

7. Auto-Renewal

Certain subscriptions renew automatically.

By purchasing recurring Services, you authorize recurring charges according to your selected plan.

It is your responsibility to manage cancellations, billing settings, and renewal preferences prior to renewal dates.

Unless otherwise specified by product-specific terms, renewals are considered intentional continuation of service.

8. Usage Limits, Credits & Fair Use

Certain Services may include:

  • AI credits
  • OCR page limits
  • API quotas
  • Monthly processing limits
  • Storage or compute limitations
  • Fair usage thresholds

When limits are reached, we may:

  • Pause AI or OCR processing
  • Restrict premium functionality
  • Limit API access
  • Require plan upgrades
  • Delay processing
  • Apply fair-use restrictions

Users may continue accessing other non-restricted areas of the Service where applicable.

Attempts to bypass limits, automate abuse, or exploit system resources may result in suspension or termination.

9. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Violate laws or regulations
  • Upload malicious code or harmful software
  • Abuse AI systems
  • Perform spam, phishing, fraud, or deceptive activities
  • Interfere with servers, systems, APIs, or infrastructure
  • Generate harmful, illegal, abusive, or malicious content
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts

We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access for misuse.

10. AI & Automated Systems Disclaimer

Some Services may use artificial intelligence, automation, OCR, or machine learning technologies.

You understand and agree that:

  • AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies
  • OCR extraction may not always be accurate
  • Outputs should be reviewed before reliance
  • We do not guarantee completeness, correctness, or suitability of generated content

You remain solely responsible for decisions made using generated outputs.

11. Data Processing

Depending on the Service:

  • Certain features may process data locally
  • Some features may process information through cloud systems, APIs, or third-party providers
  • Processing methods may vary by product

You represent that you have the legal right to upload or process submitted materials.

You are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws for uploaded content.

12. Updates, Changes & Product Availability

We may:

  • Modify Services
  • Add or remove features
  • Change limits
  • Improve functionality
  • Fix bugs
  • Discontinue features or products

We are not obligated to maintain any specific feature indefinitely.

Access to Services may occasionally be interrupted due to maintenance, outages, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

13. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, trademarks, plugins, AI systems, APIs, designs, documentation, source code, interfaces, content, and related intellectual property remain owned by WebEquipe and/or CodersBucket Ltd.

No ownership rights are transferred to users.

You may not reproduce, redistribute, copy, or commercially exploit protected materials without permission.

14. Support & Maintenance

Support is provided on a reasonable-effort basis during business days and may vary depending on product, subscription, or support level.

We do not guarantee:

  • Immediate response times
  • Bug resolution deadlines
  • Continuous feature development
  • Compatibility with all third-party environments

15. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate Services if:

  • Terms are violated
  • Abuse is detected
  • Fraudulent activity occurs
  • Payment fails
  • Excessive misuse impacts system stability

We reserve the right to remove or restrict access without prior notice where necessary.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy
  • Reliability
  • Availability
  • Non-infringement

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WebEquipe and CodersBucket Ltd. shall not be liable for:

  • Lost revenue
  • Lost profits
  • Data loss
  • Business interruption
  • Security incidents
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the applicable Service during the previous twelve (12) months.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WebEquipe, CodersBucket Ltd., affiliates, staff, contractors, and partners against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • Your misuse of Services
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Violation of law
  • Uploaded or processed content

19. Third-Party Services

Some Services may integrate with third-party platforms, APIs, plugins, hosting providers, payment providers, or marketplaces.

We are not responsible for:

  • Third-party downtime
  • Service interruptions
  • Data loss caused by external providers
  • Third-party policies or actions

Your use of third-party services remains subject to their terms.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Updated versions will become effective upon publication.

Continued use of Services after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

21. Governing Principles & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by internationally recognized commercial principles and, where applicable, applicable laws governing CodersBucket Ltd.

The parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution of disputes before formal legal proceedings.

22. WebEquipe AI Alt Text for Images

1. The service. The WebEquipe AI Alt Text for Images plugin is free. It can generate alt text for images in two ways: (a) Bring Your Own Key mode, where you use your own account with OpenAI, Anthropic or Google and pay that provider directly under its terms; and (b) WebEquipe Credits mode, a hosted service operated by us that generates alt text and is paid for with credits.

2. Credits. One credit is used each time a result is successfully produced; a failed request does not use a credit, and a retried request is not charged twice.

  • Free plan: a monthly allowance of 20 credits. Every 30 days the balance is reset to the full allowance and unused free credits do not carry over.
  • Paid monthly plans: the plan’s allowance is added when the plan starts and at each renewal. Unused credits stay on your balance.
  • Paid yearly plans: the full yearly allowance is added when the plan starts and at each yearly renewal.
  • Credit packs: one-time purchases add credits to your balance. You can buy more than one.
  • Changing plan: your leftover credits are kept and the new plan’s allowance is added.
  • Cancelling or expiry: Credits mode is disabled and your account data, including any remaining credit balance, is deleted immediately.

Purchases are processed by Freemius under its terms (https://freemius.com/terms/). Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

3. Your account. You are responsible for activity on your site’s connection, including keeping your API token and license secure. You must tell us promptly if you believe they have been compromised.

4. Acceptable use. You may submit only images you have the right to use and process. You must not submit unlawful, infringing, abusive or deceptive content; attempt to bypass credit limits or authentication; probe, overload or reverse-engineer the Credits service; or share or resell your token.

5. AI output. Alt text is produced by AI and provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, appropriate, or sufficient to meet accessibility standards or laws (including WCAG). You are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it.

6. Third-party providers. Credits mode uses OpenAI and other providers named in our Privacy Policy to process your images. Their terms may apply to that processing. In BYOK mode, your chosen provider’s terms govern your use of its API.

7. Availability and changes. We may change, suspend or discontinue the Credits service or any plan. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes. The plugin itself remains available under the GPL-2.0-or-later license.

8. Suspension and termination. We may suspend or end access to the Credits service for breach of these terms, abuse, or non-payment. You may stop using the service at any time by disconnecting your site. Remaining credits are handled as described in point 2.

9. Disclaimer and liability. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses beyond the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Privacy. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms; governing law. We may update these terms and will post the new date. Continued use after an update means you accept it. Governing law and dispute resolution are as set out in section 21 above.
